Younger and older, it’s impossible to point out a single group you’ll find in the neighborhood. This area is called home by many elderly couples, big families with toddlers and/or teenagers, young adults starting to live on their own. This is a tight-knit community, the kind where everybody knows everybody, and neighborhood watch takes care of residents’ safety.
Things you’ll love
Peace, quiet, and safety are the biggest advantages of this neighborhood. It’s not a place where you are afraid to leave your house after dusk. There are plenty of family-friendly venues close to the residential area, as well as playgrounds and parks. What’s more, it’s well-adjusted for professionals who commute every day.
Be warned …
You won’t find here many hangout spots for adults but it doesn’t mean there aren’t any. There’s a couple of really nice cafes and bars, but more as an exception to the family-friendly restaurants and bistros which can be found around every corner. Oh, and if you’re not a big fan of children, you may like to re-consider living in this neighborhood.
Drivers will be thrilled as the main roads are easily accessible, and they won’t have any trouble with reaching downtown - this commuting-oriented area will be the right choice for you if you’re a professional developing your career, but at the same time, focused on your family. If you don’t have a car, there are always multiple bus services available.
Considering the family-friendly character of this area, you’ll find plenty of schools nearby, most of them within walking distance. More possibilities are to be easily found in the near proximity, so you don’t need to worry about the education of the youngest at all.
